What a game so far. Betts is the surprising best player on the team right now. Came outa nowhere.

 

Nobody could handle Gallardo's sinky cutter until Benintendi followed it down for that huge double (or maybe it was a curve on that pitch, I forget, but it was dropping). Then Betts comes through in the clutch with one of the most surprising and exciting HRs so far this year! Ziegler did a good job in my opinion. Anyone else would have given up a big inning.

 

Bogaerts could use a day off for mental rest. I think he's frustrated from being a bit overworked.
