He is a guy who you expect to get 6 innings and a quality start from. He is not a top of the rotation type pitcher.

Actually, I'm impressed. Yes, he's slow as molasses. But he has three different pitches, good control, and more grit by far that the lineup. First Betts and Ortiz came up with the bases loaded and produced one lousy run. Then Benintendi (the anointed one) and Pedroia did the same thing.
