@redsoxstats Benintendi had a reverse split in the minors and hit 333/440/533 vs LHP. Ariel Miranda had a reverse split and LHH hit 292/339/434 off him.

Well, if I were a Padre's fan and paid little attention the Redd Sox lineups, but decided I'd catch a game tonight, I;d be shaking my head wondering who was calling the shots there.

I think next year Mookie bats 3rd, Nintendo leading off. Pedroia always have his safety net of batting 2nd.

That's probably pretty close. Nintendo apparently a contact hitter. But I think Pedroia finds himself doen in the 8 hole next year, I expect (but don't wany to see it) that both Pedroia and Papi start fading as the season goes along. Maybe Big Papi already has, and I hope it's because of the retirement fanfare.

I don't see a fade coming from Pedroia. I do think he should be farther down in the order, but that's mainly because of the large number of good hitters and as he is not that great at driving in runs.

Seriously, f*** putting Brentz in the lineup over Beni. There's no reason. Beni is already done more with his bat than Brentz. He's a better fielder, baserunner, oh yeah, and is the LFer of the future... so why the f*** do you start Brentz. You have Holt (and later Young) as your bench guys. Just f***ing get rid of Brentz, he's no longer needed. f***ing stupid f***ing s*** man!

Brentz MINOR league career stat line: .262 .326 .459 .786 I mean, he sucks.
