Over the past week, they have been finding ways to lose. it is about time that they find a way to win a game after being down by a lot.
And they did!!! Best win of the year.

The danger of slumping so badly ( as the Sox have been doing if we are honest ) is that a losing culture can be formed and then the season is just over.

A win like this can be like a benches empty brawl with Tek popping purple lips in the kisser.

I'm hoping these guys now remember who they are and proceed to kick mother f***ing ass on everybody!!!

f*** YEAH!!!1!!1!!1

pretty good managing too. Just one helluva game.

Farrell did a good job tonight, I was so glad he pinch hit the red hot Leon for Vazquez, it ended up being a huge difference.

Completely agree. Sometimes a team just needs a huge win/brawl, or something of that nature that just gets the team hyped up and feels like they can win again. Down 6-0, after your ace gets rocked and you come from behind against one of best teams in baseball and tie the game AND take the lead with 2 outs in the 9th? What a game!

Heck of a win tonight guys. Still a bit worried about Price. He has been awesome his last 7 or 8 starts but tonight was absolutely awful. I know all pitchers have bad days... hopefully he rebounds.

Any idea what his velocity was tonight?

Good at bats by many in the 9th, but IMO, Leon's at bat was the game changer. Great at bat by him.

And Koji, striking out the side in vintage fashion.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I really needed that win. LOL

Let's go!

Not sure but his average velocity now is low 90s. Trying not to worry much as he was really getting it going his last 3 starts with 25 strikeouts. But tonight was nasty.... Hope this doesn't kill his confidence. Ugh all I hear from people is how he doesn't deserve this back contract. Very hard to defend him when he plays like this

I agree. This win was like a good solid waste expulsion.

It could be just his stupid chart of the past. Then again, he was a college pitcher and he is a Doctor. Jacko suggested that Price may have a core problem.

Howevah, in his post game interview, Price said he feels great and that he is healthy. He said he just did not have anything working for him and that it was just very bad execution. I believe him.

With his big contract and the YUGE expectations that come along with it, everyone is going to fret anytime Price falters or gets lit up.

Every pitcher has these things happen. I've seen Kershaw, The King, and just about every big time pitcher get his ass handed to him. It's frustrating to watch and it seems unjust. But that is just the nature of their endeavor.

Price will be fine.

I love having Price on the team. He is a legit big game pitcher and ace. He ran into a hot team tonight and got banged around. It happens, but we still won the game.
