We are very fortunate that Price didn't give up another HR to Arod in the 7th, when Farrell let Price stay in for some reason. Price gave Arod a couple fastballs he could have killed.

 

This is something I have to give Farrell credit for. Price obviously wanted to stay in the game and get a little redemption against ARod. Farrell gave him that chance. Sometimes, that little show of confidence from your manager and a small victory like getting ARod out after being beaten by him twice before goes a long way.

 

Not that Price necessarily needs a boost in confidence, but good on Farrell for showing Price that he has that confidence in him.
