Speaking of Lovullo, I like what I have seen of him so far as a manager. If Farrell is not well enough to return, or Dombrowski decides to can him, I wouldn't mind Lovullo staying on as manager.

Believe me, I am not a fan of the sacrifice, and I think it is way overused. I always thought Farrell sacrificed too much, and that was my biggest criticism of him. From what I've read, most of the sacrifices that we've seen recently, the players have done on their own. In fact, Lovullo has told the players that he would prefer NOT to see them sacrifice in those situations.

The only time I liked the sacrifice last night was when Brock had hurt his shoulder and his right arm was jacked up from fist pumping to DJ Kitty.
