IL Pitcher of the Year Anthony Ranaudo (2-0 4.50) vs Archer (8-6 3.09)

Here is hoping that Ranaudo has a strong outing. It would be nice to see him take a step forward toward a starting role for 2015.

Archer is looking pretty good recently. I hope Papi goes yard again on the punk just to get in his head.

it would be nice to see him step up and compete for a rotation spot in 2015.

Mookie baby...this kid looks like the real deal.

He does. And not just because of the Grand slam. He has good AB and he is playing solid D so far.

I'm really glad to see Archer take it up the pooper. I wish that Papi had gone yahd off him but I'll take what the Sox have done so far!

I'm enjoying Cespedes so far. I don't like his quick AB but it's not a bad trade off if he continues to hit with runners on base.

He's light yearsvbetter offensively than Bradley.

I think that should settle the hash. Betts is in, Bradley is out. Even our bumbling front office who has turned to s*** everything they've touched this year cannot be that stupid. The problem is Castillo. He may turn out to be a star but reports is that he is not in Cespedes or Abreu's class, nor in the class of those two Cubans the Cubs are touting. I could mean we lose Betts and that would be absolutely idiotic. Remember, 319 in Cuban baseball is not 319 in the Majors.

Castillo is the shiny new toy for the Sox fans to drool over. Until he does something ( like hit consistently ) on the big stage he is just another prospect. One that has not played since 2012 and never in this country.

Oh well.

I'm not happy to see XB back starting at SS. I know it sounds terrible for me to say this but the kid plays like s*** compared to Holt. I say start Holt at short as long as necessary and send XB down to Pawtucket or let him sit. I want the Sox to win more games!!!!

I think Holt is the far better player at this juncture. He deserves the chance to compete for the 2015 SS job. XB has done zero to warrant making him the incumbent.
