Hilarious how much s*** XB and JBJ get on this site. The TEAM as a WHOLE f***ing sucks. Stop calling out certain players.
When a team is successful, it is because a number of players perform well. Those players deserve credit. Likewise, when a team performs like stinking pile of garbage, it is because a number of individual players have played poorly. They deserve to get called out. They earned it. The biggest reason for this year's stinking pile was the underperformance of the following players: Bradley, XB, Drew, Nava, Pedroia, and Buchholz. Honorable mention goes to Middlebrooks who sucked and was injured. Another huge reason for the stinking pile was the prolonged absence of Victorino. Those are the reasons for the stinking pile. Bradley and XB were major contributors or should I say undercontributors. Their performances were probably the 2 biggest disappointments of this season, because expectations were so high and their performances didn't just fall short of expectations, they have been horrible. So why is it that you think they should be exempt from criticism?

Anytime a team starts 3 rookie position players, its going to be a toss up on what the f*** happens. You cant expect every prospect to pan out and you also can't expect them to be a star in their rookie season.. JBJ hasn't been good, thats clear. However, his defense has been awesome and if he could develop into an even decent hitter it would be huge. The Sox are going to need a great CF if they are going to start Cespedes and Craig in the OF and JBJ can help make up for the lack of D.

Victorino covers plenty of ground, and he is not going to sit when healthy. Let Betts learn to play CF. He has plenty of speed to cover ground.

lol ok. WE SHOULD JUST KEEP THE HISTORICALLY BAD OUTFIELD AS IS!!!! /spud

Dude get a clue. Cespedes is a 30-40 HR bat in the AL East. He's got an 80 arm. Craig doesn't have to be great defensively because he is playing LF. He's having a bad 3 months and if you're going to judge him over 300 AB after he's had a successful 1200 then you don't understand samples or baseball.

You're not always right, get off your high horse.

Was I right about Drew's signing being a disaster? Was I right from the beginning that Xander was pathetic with RISP? Was I right that Bradley simply cannot hit ML pitching? Stop giving me this high horse s*** and listening in for a change. When I'm wrong, I admit, something some of your friends are loathe to do so they flee the board until the heats off. And when I'm right I expect you to simply admit it and go from there.

I know you're a young lad but young or not wake the hell up. Xander cannot hit with RISP unless you think 140 is a good percentage. As for Bradley we have had three chances to see this guy with a bat in his hands----for a short time in 2013, in this year's ST and in the first four months of the regular season. He is a s***** hitter, cannot get around on a good fast ball, has no power to speak of, no speed to steal bases, no bunting ability to get a few of those kinds of hits. In other words, he's a total turd offensively. The facts speak for themselves and getting all hot and bothered over it isn't going to cut it. If Betts has a good series vs the Yankees I expect Farrell to get his head out of his ass and install Mookie as our regular CF. We need offense and speed. Mookie gives us that...Jackie doesn't.

yes, and you were right when Daniel Bard walked of the Fenway field a couple of years ago that he was through. You have some strong opinions, but when you are right, you have every right to crow about it.

And when I'm wrong Ted I better be damn sure I admit that too. I think I do but remind me if I forget. What I hate is for someone to pan me for something I say and when I'm proven right they tell me to get off my high horse. That is when I get good and pissed off. Speaking about being wrong, though, when I am, it is a doozy. Remember 2012 when Lester was having all that trouble with the umpires and getting lit up. I said the guy was a shitbag and should be sold. Well that turned out to be the lemon of the decade. You bet I'm wrong some of the time and it's the nature of the beast when you are as opinionated as I am. Anyway, tonight was a great win for me being what day it was. I have to tell you, I wanted this one very badly.

Is it me or is it funny that the $pankees are starting to collect former Sox that no longer fit in their plans. Last night the SP - 2B - CF - RP were all former Sox. As much as we missed Ellsbury this year he is still not worth 21 million per. This also shows how their minor league system is not working right now. Do you think they wished that they could have had Betts at 2B instead of Drew last night.
