What are the options? I didn't want him back this year. During July last year he became so s***** that we practically benched him for carp. I am okay with him next year if we can bolster our offense in other ways though.

Wow nice comeback! Betts hit an infield double, Nava was the hero with the game tieing hit, and Holt walked it off.

I know JBJ is still struggling at the plate, but I really do like him and hope he can at least be a .250 hitter. His defense is unbelievable. Also, Mookie Betts is gonna be something special, I really enjoy watching him play. That infield double was awesome, that was just pure hustle.

JBJ will win multiple good gloves in his career. He has hit a little better this season with RISP. We definitely know his potential at the plate. He has gone through a massive swing overhaul, which could explain the subpar numbers. An outfield of him, Mookie, and possibly Holt if we lose Drew, move X to SS, and keep WMB, will be a fun thing to watch in the coming years.
