Drew with a hit and a RBI. Has the world stopped spinning?

Well it's a start. We'll take what we can get from him and maybe he will start getting some bingles for us. The keys are Nap, Pedey and Papi. Tonight they went 6 for 12 with six RBI's. If they hit it will create a ripple effect throughout the lineup, and Holt is still doing the job. A little help from Drew and Bradley should be encouraging-----yes I said it. And Betts???? Keep him in the lineup.

So tired about hearing about these Yankee vets. We heard about Rivera all 2013, and now we're getting the Jeter love-fest. Egh.

The ESPN guys were bag lapping Jeter and the Yankees all night. It was excruciating to listen to so I had the game on in the background and sort of tuned out until I heard elevated volume of some kind. Then I moved back to the tv to see what had happened.

Those of us who have the good fortune to watch the NESN feeds each game have it pretty good. Even with all the stupid text polls and corporate sponsorship crap.

Only three things are infinite: the universe, human stupidity, and the amount of dorky white guys in the Yankees bullpen.

There was an abundant supply of them in the stands too.

Losers.

Mookie has a nice debut. 1-3 with a BB, didn't look challenged at all. Put up good AB, saw an average 5.75 pitches in his 4PA.

Yup.

So far, so good.

He sure is small!!!

He didn't look that small to me, maybe because he is very slender he gives a taller appearance.

I learned last night that Betts is 5'9", 165.

That may be taller than Pedroia but still smaller than most MLB players.

As long as he can play well it does not matter.

They were joking last night that the Sox have the All-Rosenthal team because we have a lot of players under 6 feet tall. I notice this spring that we have a lot of little guys. Do they try to get kid's airfares for them? LOL!
