On another thread my sometimes antagonist VA and I had a meeting of the minds when we both went down the line and said if Pedroia and Ortiz hit we have a chance to start winning some games. Done tonight. I also included Napoli but the poor guy was playing with a distended finger and probably in agony under those conditions. Hopefully he heals soon and we get him back. Tonight both the pitching and hitting did their work together and though Lester didn't pitch as well as some of his starts, he also lost some because of crappy support. Tonight he wasn't as sharp but got good support......for the most part. Now is we could only win at Fenway Park we might make a little run at things.

 

Also to my friend Palodios......SIGN LESTER AND DO IT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Please Ben, start the negotiations in earnest this time out. Get him under wraps with no low balling.

Was too busy to watch the game but MAN I'm psyched! This winning streak could decide the season. The Sox have tried everything to float above .500 but nothing has worked. If this doesn't work, you've gotta think that would lower confidence. So let's keep this thing going!
