Yeah downer for sure. Granted, facing Scherzer, but no spark in the lineup and the bottom third is just a dead zone right now. Night all.

Perhaps it was. Don't know why he is always in the middle of the lineup when he plays.

 

Because Farrell is managing with his head up his ass....perhaps. Here's another one. Why is Bogaerts batting sixth instead of second? He hasn't driven in a run in a month and half if you can believe that but he does have a decent OBA. Put Victorino at leadoff for some speed, Bogey second, Pedey third, Papi and then Napoli. That 2-5 quartet helped win a WS last season but that seems to have slipped Farrell's alleged mind. The team is playing horse s*** ball but IMHO Farrell isn't doing so hot from the dugout either.

I still find it hilarious how Xander only has 5 rbis even though he has played nearly every game. Although he hasn't had a great amount of at bats with runners in scoring position, hitting .118 with risp certainly doesn't help.

 

I caught some hell in early April when I hinted that Xander might be a choker. You can argue the merits of that one but the fact remains he cannot hit with runners in scoring position to save his ass, while Bradley can't hit period and WMB is underachieving so badly that I'm getting an earache just remembering how I was touting him in ST. Face it, right now we stink.

If Farrell play for 1 run just tied it up, we're likely going to out pitch the Tigers bullpen. This team need to stop waiting for the 3 run bomb, it ain't happening.

Middlebrooks should be selling lemonade.How the f*** is this guy in the big leagues? He is putrid! Bradley and Bogaerts are giving this team nothing on a consistent basis.This lineup is a mess
