OK muthaf***as! The gloves will be off tonite. Puig showed his ass and we stomped the s*** out of LA after that! Wainwright will be pissed at Gomes partying like it's 1999 in our house. Look for him to be drilled like Beltran was in game 2. Payback.

I guess you are referring to Mike Shannon. He is possibly the worst baseball announcer ever. He was a Card in the '60's, helped win a couple of pennants. INCLUDING 1967.

 

He got real sick after his playing days, and when he recovered Gussie Busch gave him Jack Buck's radio job when he took Harry Carry's when he was fired for f***ing Mrs. Busch. (no lie)

 

Old Card fans tolerate him for old time sakes, and new fans get a kick out of his drunken ineptitude.

With my younger brother being a big time Cardinals fan...I remember way back when...You could pick up KMOX in Alabama and he would listen to the Cardinals games on his AM radio. Jack Buck and Mike Shannon...Seemed Shannon was always drunk after the 6th inning. (Sometimes comically so.) (This was early 80's)

I can relate. All Card fans can as they had listened to a drunk ass Harry after the 6th for 20 years. FWI: KMOX lost the Cards for a couple of years but there was such an uproar from the vast area that had picked up

that strong signal from KMOX that they got the contract back.

Watched the first 5 minutes of the pregame, each of those four morons jerked off for the cards. Cardinals shook it up, cardinals have this *******, cardinals need to do this, cardinals need to do that... Not one mention of the Sox. Like I give a s*** what roid rage Pierzynski thinks about anything. Why don't they try to get russell martin in there too? He has publicly said that he hates the Red Sox and is overjoyed anytime they lose. f*** FAUX sports with a rusty chainsaw, radio night for me.
