Green, Cruz, and Wayne are all better options this week. I doubt Boldin comes even close to his numbers against the Seahawks. Green and Cruz should never see your bench, except on a bye week. Maybe Boldin over Wayne if he had a favorable matchup. Wayne is still the unquestioned number one in Indianapolis. I'd bet on him to outproduce Boldin rest of season. That being said, Boldin is probably going to see a lot of targets with Crabtree out. I'd still be cautious about a 32 year old WR who hasn't had a 1,000 yard season in three years.

An acquaintance of mine told me to trade Boldin while his stock is high. I'm trying to get some more depth at RB for him.

So I'm really like stuck and could use some help real quick... At flex would you guys roll with Dwayne Bowe (vs Dallas), Julian Edelman (vs New York), Boldin (vs Seattle) or Chris Johnson (vs Houston)?

I don't know what to do. Boldin plays Seattle, Bowe and Johnson sucked ass week 1 and I'm not really sure I trust Edelman... although I'm actually leaning towards him due to Amendola being out, even against a tough CB in Cromartie.

I'm definitely trying to deal Boldin, his stock isn't going to get higher than this.

I'd keep him for a few more weeks. The 49ers are thin at WR, so he's just battling Vernon Davis for targets. A few more games with 15 plus targets will boost his value a little more. I'm still cautious about him, because of age and recent history but there's some potential for his value to go higher. If someone offers Trent Richardson for him, by all means jump on that immediately.

Boldin on the road against Seattle is pretty risky. Kaepernick was not very good against them last year. I would rank Boldin 4th in your group. Bowe is probably 3rd. I wouldn't look too much into the Jaguars game. The Chiefs had already won by the second quarter, so they didn't need to throw. I think Bowe is one of those better in real life players. Smith is a check down machine, so that will hurt Bowe's production. He's a WR2 in a deeper fantasy league, but if you have better options look at those. It's really between Edelman and Johnson. Edelman looks like Brady's only option tonight, so he's going to be targeted often. The Patriots also love him. He was starting over Welker last year, before he got hurt. The Jets have a great secondary, but you can safely assume seven points for him. At the worst, he'll probably go 7/70. The drawback I can think about is the lack of big play ability. He's in the slot most of the time. Brady looks his way in the red zone, so that might mitigate the concern. I think he's the safest pick out of the four. Johnson probably has the highest potential, but he's also one of the higher risks. He's always a threat to take it to the house when he gets the ball, but he also is frequently running for -2, -1, and 0 yard gains. He wasn't great against Pittsburgh, but he did get 25 carries. Tennessee knows the offense is going to move through him, because Locker sucks. Of course, having a bad QB allows the defense to stack the box. That luxury, plus a top five run defense are huge red flags. Also, Tennessee is not a good football team. They could easily find themselves throwing to catch up. Johnson is either going for 10/30/0, or 25/150/2.

A gun to my head, I'd go with Johnson, because I like big play players. Edelman is the safer pick.

Hmmm, thanks for response.... I think I'm just gonna go with Edelman. Brady has to throw the ball to someone and Edelman looks like a safe bet like you said, with Vereen, Gronk and Amendola out....

Another question: would you guys deal Chris Johnson And Jordy Nelson for Julio Jones?

Depends on your roster. Who else is on your team?

QB: Aaron Rodgers

RB: Marshawn Lynch, Lesean McCoy, Chris Johnson, Leveon Bell, Lamar miller

WR: Vincent Jackson, Dwayne Bowe, Jordy Nelson, Anquan Boldin, Julian Edelman, Steve Johnson

TE: Jason Witten and Jared Cook

D: 49ers

K: Janikowski

He's not 100% sure he wants to do it, but he needs RB and said he'd throw me back Ryan Matthews also if he does it.

How many teams were in your league? I'm assuming your roster construction is QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, W/R, K, DEF.

QB - Rodgers QB - Rodgers

RB - Lynch RB - Lynch

RB - McCoy RB - McCoy

WR - Jackson WR - Jackson

WR - Bowe/Nelson/Boldin/Edelman WR - Jones

TE - Witten TE - Witten

W/R - Johnson W/R - Bowe/Edelman/Boldin

D: 49ers D - 49ers

K: Raiders only offensive threat K - ROOT

I wouldn't do it. Nelson is unbelievably underrated. He had a 1,250/15 TD season two years ago, which almost no one seems to remember. He looked sharp in the opener, and he's catching passes from the best QB in the game. He's a low 1/very high 2 in an eight team league. You definitely upgrade from Nelson to Jones, but I think you lose more falling off from Johnson to one of your WR's. Fantasy owners hate Johnson, because he is wildly inconsistent, but I think that makes them overlook the weeks where he wins games by himself. The Titans were awful last year, and he still ran for 1,240/6. They upgraded their OL over the offseason, so he's a good bet to finish around there again. Also, Locker could find himself on the bench, which means check down king Ryan Fitzpatrick could be getting starts. Johnson would catch a lot more balls if this happens. If you still hate Johnson, ask yourself if Edelman/Bowe/Boldin are likely to score more points over the whole season. Johnson is probably the most likely to score the most points out of anyone in that trade. Ryan Mathews is a throw-in. He'll only start for you if you have a rash of injuries. Speaking of those, if you trade Johnson you have the RBBC Lamar Miller, the injured Le'Veon Bell, and a RB who lost the bulk of the carries to Ronnie Brown. You're in serious trouble if you lose a RB. Wait until Miller or Bell shows something. Maybe then you can move Johnson.

Maybe FF has changed from the days when I played it, but why would you trade a starting feature back for a WR? Never mind throwing in Jordy Nelson as well. That doesn't seem like a smart trade to me.

My team absolutely killed s*** today. Having Aaron Rodgers is fun.

Yes it is! Marshawn Lynch helped me out too. Both my teams will soon be 2-0.

I also had Lynch, I was actually down by like 7 or something going into last game, but Lynch just absolutely killed it, along with the 49ers D to seal the victory. Every single starter, including my kicker and D scored at least 12 points, except Jason Witten. My team was highest scoring team in our league by 45 points and the 2nd highest scoring team was the dude I was playing who had Vick, Desean Jackson, Gates, Marshall, Ravens D. One of craziest matchups I've been involved in.

Need the Bengals D to come up with 7 points tonight.

As a Steelers fan, I'd be very confident in this happening. Our O-line not only sucks, but is injured, Roethlisberger is guaranteed to be sacked 3-4 times, one of which will likely be of the strip sack variety and Heath Miller and Le'veon Bell are out. 7 points seems like a very safe bet.

The team I have with Rodgers and Lynch scored 146 last week and 116 so far this week. Rodgers and Lynch combined for 65 to pick up the off days by Reggie Wayne and Tony Gonzalez. I also had LeSean McCoy and Cruz. I have AJ Green playing tonight.

My other team, led by Rodgers, Cobb, and Marshall has 111 so far, compared to 97 last week (still won). I have the Steelers D going tonight, in place of the Seahawks, who got me 21 on the bench. The one bad move this week.

I'm benching Cruz in favor of Darren McFadden at my FLEX spot. Should I go McFadden, Anquan Boldin (playing tonight!!!), or not bench Cruz at all?

If Pryor plays, I'd start McFadden. If it's Flynn, start Cruz. Not sure if you played Boldin already.

BTW, fantasy sleeper of the week is Terrelle Pryor.

Johnson, and not because of Glennon. Patrick Peterson is a beast. Plus, Johnson will get like 10-13 targets. Don't shy from Jackson in future weeks. Glennon's arm is as strong as Freeman. Remains to be see if he'll take some shots, but if he does, Jackson will be fine.
