Well at least we are into their pen...been about the only way we win games lately...getting enough innings to beat up on the pen....Usually three innings is enough for the Sox as long as our pen holds up.

When you think about it it's incredible that they would wait until the third game of the series, with an early 2-0 lead on Sabathia, with Dempster on the mound, to hit A-Rod. This may be one of the stupidest moves in baseball all year.

That makes for an interesting question. Do you think Farrell knew ahead of time that his players were planning this? Clearly, Demps was trying to hit A-roid from pitch one. In the first place Red Sox pitchers are mostly reluctant to pitch inside for some reason.

 

I have to believe that the players would have tried to keep it from Farrell and the coaches and that had he known ahead of time, he would have addressed it.

Well of the Manager let that go, (the a-roid beaning) that has got to be one of the dumbest managerial decisions I have ever seen. I can not rationalize but can see how a bunch of nitwit players could talk themselves into something like this. But 'Farrell should just go ahead and get in the sandbox, break out his Tonka toys and play with them if he is going to allow that kind of stupidity.
