You're right, it wasn't a good choice of words. I just meant to question the suggestion that WMB hitting under .200 for 53 games means that he shouldn't be thought of as a legit major league hitter. A lot of legit hitters have had bad streaks that long. His 2012 numbers were certainly legit.

I think sometimes we nitpick on wording so we can question someone's post. It is probably not a valid nor fair way to participate in the discussion process. I believe I am guilty of this myself.
