And yes that hill out there is a total joke. Someday a fielder is going to hit that thing in stride unexpectedly and get hurt in the process.

Somebody please correct me on this if I am wrong but isn't that hill supposed to be some sort of an homage to the grade up to the wall that is in the Astrodome? The Astrodome surface was so f***ed up and they went through so much s*** trying to make it right over the years, finally giving up. I think the grade was one of the things that was always screwed up there. Anyway, sorry if I got that wrong but I think that is what the hill is about.

"You all" was perhaps a little too general. I wasn't talking about you. I just meant that the Sox are in the midst of extending their lead after taking the lead on a game in which a spot starter struggled, and everyone can't just be happy with this? Complain about the starter and Napoli later. Live in the moment! The Sox are winning!

Actually, it's where all of Andy Pettitte's HGH stash is buried.

Never understood why they would have that as a feature, when they could've easily built the park without it. It's not as if Minute Maid has been around forever like Fenway... no reason at all to have it there.

Why in the hell would you freaking start Wright instead of Workman?!? It just makes no sense. And THEN you bring in Workman?? So you dick yourself out of the game and you also dick yourself out of seeing Workman in meaningful relief??

Seems pretty meaningfull to me ;)

I think it might be time to go to the pen again. Workman obviously hadn't settled down despite the quick 5th, and it would suck to give up a lead to this team.

He's leaving everything up and out over the plate. No wonder he's getting hit hard.

Man has Britton turned it on at the right time. He is starting to get into the same neighborhood as Miller was in when he went down and Bres was not headed that way...neither was Thornton before he went down. He has given us some big innings and has also come in and put out fires..not exactly the same skill set and often harder to come by.

On a seperate note, sundays pawtucket start for anthony ranaudo went masterful. He didnt let up any runs, got some solid ks, and was painting all night long. Just another good young arm we can look forward too seeing up here in the near future,
