You think so? He looked cool about what happened.

Yeah. When they were walking back to the dugout, they exchanged a few words, and Pedroia looked annoyed there too. Ellsbury then made a waving motion at one of the coaches. I think it was more of a mild annoyance than any big conflict though

I'll be surprised if Ortiz sees another high leverage strike with 1B open this season.

He's hitting .500 after Ortiz has been intentionally walked.

Fife (former Sox) has done well for LA. f***, half that team are ex-Soxs.

That trade was done with Rule 5 Cannon Fodder (Fife, Federowicz, and Chiang) A lot of the Ex-Sox were doing well (Crawford, Punto, Gonzalez, Hanley if he counts) but at least Beckett was doing poorly.

I'm pretty sure Crawford is putting up pretty much the same numbers as Victorino this year. Vic's awesome but I wouldn't want to pay him 142 million over 7 years

The padres traded Thatcher for Kennedy to the padres. It is rare that you see a trade within the division

Or within the same organization.

Crawford has barely played and is barely hitting. Gonzales has been mediocre, Punto barely plays. Hanley's raking though.

130 OPS+ is mediocre?

Does he not have enough RBIs or a high enough batting average?

Towards the beginning of the year all of them minus Beckett (and Federowicz) were white hot.

Adrian Gonzalez is .300/.351/.468/.818 with 15 HR and 66 RBI (106 games)

Hanley Ramirez is .365/.413/.651/1.063 with 11 HR and 37 RBI in 53 games. (7 for 7 in SB)

Carl Crawford is .284/.333/.417/.750 in 71 games.

Nick Punto is .244/.312/.300/.612 in 81 games. He did have a .361/.451/.475/.926 in the second week of May though. (My point being he started really hot)

and because I'm loving it

Josh Beckett is 0-5 with a 5.19 ERA in 43 1/3 innings before being injured for the year.

Federowicz has sucked and now Fife is on the DL although he has a 2.76 ERA in 45 2/3 innings. (1.27 WHIP and .275 BAA)

That sounds like commentary I'd hear in "Major League Baseball with Ken Griffey Jr."

As long as he isn't sleeping through it.

Thornton injured? Workman get a recall sooner then. Ruby De La Rosa sighting, please get him in

Workman was already going to be coming up for the road trip because Nava is going on paternity leave, so if Workman replaces him, the 10 day requirement goes away.

And I 100% agree. Bring in RDLR. Particularly if we score 1-2 more runs this inning.

.818 OPS for a first baseman is not mediocre?

Is .818 OPS for anyone mediocre? 130 OPS+ means you're 30 points above average, also known as well above average.

He's also in LA.
