Seriously, this guy wasn't good enough for the Twins, and I'm pretty sure Minnesota played a game this season with 8 guys and a mannequin in a uniform.

And his strikeout numbers are still better than Napoli's:joke:

Jim Palmer has had so much plastic surgery that he can't open his mouth all the way. Great pitcher in the day. Horrible announcer. STFU.

Carp reminds me of a slightly more disciplined Wily Mo Pena. When he hits the ball, he hits the absolute crap out of it. He doesn't get cheap shots.

Long lost twins.

WMB lucks out.

Love Jim Joyce behind the plate. No one calls a strike better.

He did f*** up that dude's perfect game but still love him

Its hard not to like an umpire who can admit when he's wrong. He's probably one of a select few.

I remember him being mic'd up behind home plate during a game where there was a feud between the teams hitting batters. I believe Joel Pineiro was on the mound for the Angels at the time.

Anyway, Joyce says to Pineiro and Scocsia "Look, I'm supposed to warn you and throw you out if you hit someone, but just pitch your game. You can pitch inside, but if it looks obviously intentional I'm gonna have to throw you out" (or something to that effect)

I liked how he let the players play and was not quick to pull the trigger on anyone.

Good example. He's old school. I like it!

Anybody know...If Buch does come back on Tuesday for the DH, will he have missed two turns or three turns?

Jeez for a little while it almost looked like Feiix was going finally have a start where he did not hit the century mark so fast. Here he is though...97 pitches through 4 and 2/3rds

Maybe in the future we are going to have to refer to this turn in the rotation as the Felix/Frankie turn....Felix to start it and Frankie to pick him up.

Yeah Doubront has too many piggyback starts.
