I heard it on MLB network from Heidi Watney that Aceves is on the trading block..not sure if he is going to land anything special in return but his attitude out of the clubhouse itself would be a lift..:dunno:

The most they will probably get is relief of his salary. If they manage to get an actual living body back for him it's a win.

More importantly, how does Heidi Watney look? does she still got it goin'on?
Heidi left Boston after she ran into Spud and Dipre at the Red Sox store. We took a tremendous hit in quality going to Jenny Dell from Heidi. Also, Jenny has such a shrill voice like nails on a blackboard compared to Heidi's sultry voice.

Yes, Jenny has to resort to her folded arm, "you have been a bad boy and you must be punished" poses in order to gain any headway on Heidi. Although I must admit that there is a certain 42nd St. kind of appeal that Dell generates from her approach that can be attractive at times. Lets just say that I would not necessarily toss Mistress Jenny to the pavement should she make herself available.

Of coarse I am sure Dell has no idea that she is eliciting that sort of response from her ad spots.....sure she hasn't!!!!!

Dogging it getting over to cover 1st while his 1st baseman was fully stretched out and in the middle of making a great play may well have been the last straw for Farrell as it related to Aceves.

One of the downsides of a public understanding that one of the FO hopes was that Farrell could bring Ace to heel is that when that does appear to be happening, Farrell is likely to cut bait pretty quickly. He needs this s*** like he needs a hole in the head.

Maybe Ace gets his wish just not the with the Sox. Look at the jokers that the Astros have starting for them. Ace could start for that team...no problem.

Yeah, I don't really like women with opinions, next thing you know she'll want to vote.
We haven't had a good President since they have had the right to vote.

I Liked Tina Cervasio myself. She wasn't voluptuous but pretty enough and I remember her as a good luck charm. It seemed the more we saw her on the NESN broadcasts on my computer the better the Red Sox did. Her last year here was 2007. 2007!!!! Sound familiar hhhuummm!!!!!!

This guy cant start anymore. 2011 was lighting in a bottle, even I was caveat of his performances using advance stats and peripherals. I wonder if he can be a middle reliever throwing 95-97 as he shown at times. We sure could use a middle inning arm. He blown his chances of being in any prominent roles, perhaps with every other teams looking on.

I don't know what Aceves can do at this point. First he will have to get over his snit over not starting any longer. He may never get over that. If he is able to put that behind him, and able to keep from letting every little thing that happens on the mound turn into a distraction that he simply cannot get past, then he surely is capable of middle relief. However you never know at this point what will set him off. A fan sneezing during his delivery might set him off for all we know..... Head case supreme.

Look Station and Jung, one of the big moves the Red Sox made in the off season was their determinaton to clean up the culture in the clubhouse, and if you ask me is seems like they pretty much accomplished that goal----with one exception....Aceves. Like many others I was willing to cut him some slack. Perhaps a new manager and new players and a new positive outlook in the clubhouse might just be the elixir for Alfredo to get a new lease on life.

WRONG!!!!!!!. We all saw it last Tuesday. He dogged it when things went South, failing to cover first base, getting called for two balks, and then totally giving the store away with his patented meat balls right down the middle. Then he had the temerity to accuse his teammates of not hitting and backing him up. No, we didn't hit, and it was the only time this past week we didn't. We did the first and third game with the A's and the four with the Astros. It happens sometimes that a pitcher goes up against a better pitcher who is hot that day......Colon was that night. You don't build spirit and comaradarie by dissing your teammates. His ticket was punched to Pawtucket and it should not be punched back to Boston. He has worn his welcome out just as he did in New York. We don't need any moaners or bad actors on a team that seems to have reawakened to a better day.

I'm not giving up on him yet. If he does get traded, hopefully the Sox get a fair deal on him. Aceves' stock is low right now but I think he can re-gain his 2011 form. He can eat innings/play garbage time if you need. He's a decent spot starter/long relief pitcher and he now has closing experience. This last game was positively putrid but he's right about not getting any run support, plus his two outings prior to that were decent. Imagine what would have happened had he started in 2012 and Bard had closed.
