I think that was a decent 0-0 pitch for WMB. not great but decent. He seems so conscience now of being set up for the low outside pitch that he is getting even more aggressive than usual early in the count. That is ultimately not the solution but for now, WMB may be right about that. He is so feeble once he gets to two strikes as long as the pitcher can hit that spot on the outer third or even off the plate for that matter.

Damn Drew brought his average all the way up to .135 And Gomes has an even 10/10 K/BB ratio. So even though his average is under .200 his OBP is closer to .400.

It's always the catchers that are the rally killers. Last year I'd say Salty was the biggest rally killer, maybe Aviles comes close.

Yeah other than that HR against Price which helped us win the game, he has been totally useless. The bottom 4 of the lineup (Middlebrooks/Gomes/Drew/Ross) are all hitting below .200. (Ciriaco is as well)
