I'll give a heads up to my fellow Bruins Fans. This Carolina team is no slouches. Might be 1-0, but that team wont quit. Bruins have to keep the hammer down on these guys. Capitols didn't. They were up 2-0 on them.

 

I don't think anyone is underestimating any team once they get to the Conference Finals.

Canes were the better team last night. Rask just played out of his mind and kept the lead.

If the Bruins play and beat the Sharks, all 3 Boston teams would have beaten California teams for the title. This is why nobody likes Cali

This is going to be one of the Great Series in a long time. If you don't follow Hockey, watch this series. War, not for weak at heart. Bruins in 7 for me. Blues are no slouches.

I stepped away briefly when the Bruins were down 2-0, and missed the first goal, so my friends barred me from watching the rest of the game. When it's the Cup Final, you gotta do what's best for the team

You saw what the Blues can do. They can beat the snot out of you. And they can skate, they are not SLOW. If anybody watched Game 5 against the Sharks, never mind the Dallas series, I knew this will be a War. OT last night looked like a Blues Power play. Bruins looked tired and beat.

Blues get better as series go on, and this scares me as a Bruin Fan.

We needed that 2-0 edge.

Not to mention, Binnington has never been pulled from a game before.... This could make or break him. A lot of times it takes goalies a while to get that confidence back after being pulled in a game especially playoffs. If the Bruins take game 4 this series is a done deal.

Agreed!! That shot he took to the jaw with that puck made me legit cringe.....

 

I will say as a fan of neither team this has been a very entertaining series. I still think the Bruins take it in 6 but the Blues have had a season for the ages..... Started off so slow and went on a terror late in the second half and right through to the Stanley Cup.

No question. I cant ignore how much better the second line looked in game 6. I'd roll with the game 6 lineup. I feel like Backes would be a better fit for an early-in-the series game, as you try to grind them down for those late series games. But now that we're here in game 7, I feel like its time to beat them with speed. Especially with the top 3 lines. I expect the fourth line to continue playing physical. So its not like we wont still have a physical presence if we don't go with Backes. The Only change I would make is Grzelcyk at this point. If healthy.. the guy has to be on the ice.
