No more Nava and the like next season. Either they play kids that have a real shot at big league play or acknowledge at the beginning of the season that we are in for another year of uniform filling for the sake of ticket sales. We have had years now of wondering why guys like Cook, Cameron, McDonald etc. keep getting paraded in front of us when they suck so hard.

Yeah Swisher, God gives half a s*** every time you hit an effing baseball. It's his number one concern you smarmy little bitch.

Hey, can you sig yourself?

Well it would likely have to have been a well placed ground out but they have not done that to often this year either. While it might not seen like the game can turn on a play like that given the propensity for the Sox to give up runs, you are much more in the game at a 3-2 score than 3-1.

Reddick was too good to play over them.

Come on Sox! Win it for your team mate Pedroia who still leaves his blood on the field while you all take the summer off. Sweep these pieces of s***.

I'd like to take this opportunity to remind us that the squander of Salty on 3rd a while back tonight could've been done by Gonzo and/or Crawford for somewhere in the neighborhood of $20M per year, as opposed to it happening at the hands of the rooks/scrubs of the team. So look on the bright side: this organization has $275M in new money to invest in improving this club, and preventing said squanders from happening in future seasons, rather than assuming that the Crawdaddy, Beckett and Gonzalez were part of the Red Sox's future. A stathead may prove me wrong (go for it), but it ALWAYS felt like Gonzo and Crawford squandered such opportunities, and I'm glad we don't have to see that s*** in big games against big rivals ever, ever again.

Onward to the future! Come on Sox, let's win this f***ing game already. Do it.

Cameron was a flat out mistake but the cavalcade of stars like d-mac and Cook have been very very hard to stomach. Some of these other jokers have been continually jammed down our throats being promoted as big league players and they have been a joke. While I hate the idea of the money spent on mistakes like Cameron and Jenks having these other guys continually projected as somebody that should be on a ML roster is insulting.

Ells works hard to get on 1st and Ciriaco throws it away. Nice dickhead. If you're gonna swing at the first pitch at least make it a good pitch to hit dumbass.

Exactly.

First pitches have to be middle middle to e worth swinging at...if they are not...don't swing....simple rule that seems to evade the Sox on many occasions.

Ciriaco's probably a little swing-happy given his recent success against the Yankees. I'll forgive it. Iggy's taking that Phelps pitch the other inning is probably a worse offense. But I respect your frustration, fellas.

Good luck to Pedey's wife Kelly, and here's hoping baby Cole comes out safely, and most important, hating the Yankees.

Geez our pitching just sucks....sucks....sucks

Every time you think they have shown you all the suckiness they have in them, they come up with a new level of suckiness.

Oh God...please not Swisher. if I have to see this grinning idiot rounding the bases I am going to slit my wrists.

Actually this is the book on Ciriaco, regardless of who or where he is playing. He not only swings at first pitches that he should lay off of, he swings at pitches that never once look like they are going to be a strike. Getting fooled on a pitch that at least at some point between the pitcher's hand and home plate looks like it might possibly be a strike is one thing...swinging at pitches that never once look like they have a chance is quite another. Unless Ciriaco cures that (unlikely) he will be meat if he ever plays a full ML season. One the pitchers and scouts build a full book on him they will abuse him something fierce.

They need to stop bringing some of these shitheads out here seriously. They got away with one tonight without Cook getting nuked but when was the last time Aceves was worth a s***? They got lucky that he didn't give it up last inning. Really man. After what we have been through this season every fan should get up and walk the f*** out as soon as they announce that they're trotting his ass out there. I actually think he's serving them up on purpose now.

Some Red Sox players need to look at Dustin Pedroia. This team has absolutely no chance at the playoffs and the rest of the games are meaningless. Instead, he still puts on a uniform and plays with heart(which pretty much a lot of people don't have on this roster) while his wife is in f***ing LABOR. This is why he's my favorite player.

To Brennan's point, while I don't think Ace throws Gopher balls up there on purpose, I do think he just gives in. When you just decide out of frustration that you are going to rear back and throw it past the hitter, that is not toughness...which people think he has for some reason. That is giving in especially when you know you don't have that kind of stuff. Ace does it when he is about thirty pitches into an inning and nothing is going right and he has no chance of throwing it past anybody. In fact, he has become so predictable that you can see hitters just waiting for him to throw that nothing FB up there at that point and BANG....dinger city.
