Well Oral we know they are basically a bunch of *******s that are more intense about where they are going to spend their vacation time than winning a baseball game...so I really appreciate you pointing that out.

Walking Martin and letting Miller throw to Ichiro could've been an interesting option. Ichiro is only 1 from 8 with a single against Miller' date=' and Ichiro is only .238 / .244 / .266 this year against lefties. Something to think about.[/quote']

Yeah, about 10 minutes ago.

How many games will we loose like this. It's time we need better leadership

Sure, but after you've fired Lucchino, reorganizing the entire FO is going to be quite a chore. Not really sure this owner is up to stepping up his own role until a smart, aggressive executive can prove himself.

Oh you're still dumb enough to think this is the manager's fault.

I swear V is trying to f*** us. I have never seen a guy try to fix s*** that ain't broke as much as this guy. The lineups.. the pen..

The only other guy I think would have been Padilla and he has been a complete nut job in these Yankee games as if the whole Tex - Padilla thing has totally gotten to him so that he is totally defocused on what he is doing on the mound. I no longer trust Padilla at all in these games even pitching to RH hitters and I guess V does not either.

Yes. This game along with the one against the rays where he walked matsui... Many similar games like these where it has been some complete bad calling from bobby v

Aceves had no business coming in the 9th

The RHP isn't good enough to face the Yankees in Yankee stadium. Stay with the friggin' lefties.

They have come a long way since Bard and Papelbon--in such a short time--down.

If the trainer keeps Bailey out a few more weeks, maybe Bailey will turn into stone.

Tommorrow, if they lose this one, Ben & Co will say good effort. We're on our way...

If they win it, Ben will say good effort. We're on our way...

The Yanks may just have pinch hit for Ichiro to get back to RH hitter against LH pitcher. Not many options there for the Sox under the circumstances and we would likely be yelling at V no matter what he did since it would have likely been a fail.

Like it or not Aceves is your closer. Bringing in your closer in a 1 run game when your big lefty has already gone 1 1/3 and had just given up a big double is the right move.

Why wouldn't Crawford try to tag up there?

You almost never tag up and move to second on a catch in CF. No matter how deep it is, you're running towards the ball. Really chancy.

Now the question is how they let the Yanks walkoff. A hanging curveball for a homerun? Or maybe a throw to the plate that Salty can't catch?
