Miller could be their setup man next year though, if you ask me. Assuming Bailey is back, that is. Miller's stuff can be nasty. He should be a valuable lefty specialist moving forward.

I don't love the Aceves call here. It has the potential to be a gelling move, if it works. It also has the ability to be very dejecting if it doesn't work out. In so far as there's any season left, it rests on them being able to get the next 4 outs.

Walking Martin and letting Miller throw to Ichiro could've been an interesting option. Ichiro is only 1 from 8 with a single against Miller, and Ichiro is only .238 / .244 / .266 this year against lefties. Something to think about.
