Beckett does need to go...Lester just needs to stop the I'm a grown ass man ******** and accept that he is a grown as follower. That is fine. Not everybody is born to lead. But we need somebody in here that will lead this rotation and that ain't Beckett and it sure ain't Lester.

 

If Lester can get somebody in here setting an example for him I think he would be fine as far as that goes. He is not destined to be a 1 anywhere.....here, anywhere.

You DL Salty. Anyone who thinks he's not messed up is crazy. I know he K's a lot and is a streaky, streaky player, but not like this. Not 1 for 30 streaky. And not like 19 K's in 30 AB streaky.

salty second half is going to be ugly after the 17 hrs

Lester was struggling enough when he wasn't walking people and wasn't allowing many HR.

 

Tonight? He walked people, allowed HR, and pitched the same as the 1st half.

 

Just brutal.

The way the pitchers have his number now we could see Salty run into 7-8 K runs in a row.

Our starting pitching is actually IMO going to look worse in the second half on a relative basis (meaning relative to opponents) than it did in the first half that is going to be totally brutal to watch.
