Pedro was the best player in the history of the Red Sox. If I was managing Game 7 of the World Series and you told me I could start Pedro on the mound or Ted Williams in the field, but not both, I would choose Pedro before you finished your sentence. Pedro was absolutely incredible when he was on, which was almost always.
