Honestly Native.....I usually hope for the run at a time approach probably more than anybody here but we have done so poorly in these tight games lately I think we need a dinger with guys on.....so take that you Native you.....just didn't want you to feel left out of the snarlyness.

I would have like the dinger more. But I wasn't going to be greedy. Oh well we didn't even get a run. :(

As far as the commitment from management I do think all of the promotional stuff that has gone on has been ill timed as well. They all look fat dumb and happy sitting up there in their luxo box and meantime we are just dying for a few wins....not more bat sales and brick sales and what-have-you. For us as fans they seem kinda' detached at this point.

Gonzo can make up for a half-season of mediocrity with one swing..
He's a shadow of himself. I don't care if he hits in 56 straight games. The guy has no pop in his bat.

Been saying that for awhile. Ever since Henry's forays into racing and soccer a few years back. It seems more like a corporate takeover to wring some money out of the fan base and then move on.

This is how I feel exactly. They were extatic over getting that foul ball earlier in the game and as a fan I'm sitting there thinking "Really? You all are the owners of the flipping team! Act like it!"

They might as well hold up a poster and ask Jerry Remy to buy them all hot dogs while they are at it.

The problem Doc is that unless we utterly fail we aren't going to see any change. If there is some modicum of success our FO will be able to make excuses. Only through utter failure can real change occur.
They had an epic collapse last season. That was their cue for renwed commitment and bold moves. We got a nothing off season. Same ole s*** from the FO. But we did get brick sales and 100 year anniversary celebration plans. The interest in this team is waning. It's the top of the 9th inning against the yankees in a high scoring game and the Sox are down only by 2 runs and the Yankees are without Mariano Rivera and the fans are leaving Fenway like the place is on fire. I can't remember seeing that in 45 years. Interst in this team is waning fast and the owners had better wake the f*** up.

This weekend could very well be the nail in the coffin for the Sox.

I know.... Warner looked just as surprised that the ball did not hit him right in the mouth and knock all his teeth out....not a one of them looks like he could actually hit, catch or throw a baseball. That might be true for many owners and baseball managers but they look particularly pitiful...at least to me.

They should meet all of the fans leaving and personally apologize to each of them for their failure to field a competitive team.

Luchhino is the only one who would not fall into the total nerd category. The lady owners in baseball like Joan Payson and Marge Schott would break those guys in half.

Marge wouldn't do that.

They are all white guys.
