Pasta mojo, which I decided two seasons ago is more effective when not announced, is 21-6 this season, just so you know. I won't ever say when it is in effect, though I will say sadly that it was in effect during that meltdown against the Yankees. For that reason Orrichette and Ditalini mixed together is off of the list of Pasta Mojo dishes. Rigatoni and Pipette are both 5-0 this season, and Shells are 4-1, including Buchholz's complete game. And yes, I have every conceiveable stat related to this carefully recorded.

Love me some shells and cheese......just wanted to get this to as impressive a number it could get to, as it looks now that middlebrooks is on his way to be an everyday player and there is no way possible for this trend to keep up...

Side note: not a big fan of rigatoni, but if it keeps atleast a .750 winning % on its scheduled appearances ....I'm all for it

Well sometime next week (I won't say when, for fear of jinxing), a new contender is going to enter the rotation. We'll see how the Sox do on that day. Also, in case you were wondering, I took note of special non-Sox occurences on Pasta days too. I didn't have pasta on the day Humber threw his PG, but I had Shells during Santana's no-hitter and Linguini during Cain's PG. The only other non-Sox note on my records is Penne on the day Hamilton hit 4 HRs.

I don't think sox nation could handle the ramifications that some crazy concoction of linguini/penne tossed dish topped with some stuffed shells could manufacture, but I for one think that sounds delicious

17-1

Excited to see what this stat will look like at the end of July w/WMB starting erry day now.

WMB for AL Rookie of the Year instead of Trout? More HR/RBIs in 10 less games.

Inevitably it has to start to even out.... But I'm having fun with it for now... And I can easily see WMB winning ROY, even if he levels off a bit

It's an exciting stat.

Hopefully it'll be 6-10 games over 500 at the end.

I hope the HR keep coming too. Maybe 25?

I think at least Rigatoni, if not Pipette as well, are producing at unsustainable rates, and will inevitably drop down back to earth.

Right leg crossed over left leg just above the ankle when Gonzo is hitting in a 2-1 count with RISP but ONLY with less than 2 outs and ONLY in innings later than the 6th and he's a .339 hitter.

It's the .0001%.

i think the day i made the thread, was the day they first started hammering on about it on nesn, and i dont think i accounted for the gm they won that day....

stand corrected- 19-1 ( ironically, the only gm they lost when WMB had an rbi, he had 4!! that day )
