I can agree with this. We can all get along.

At least we can when we're winning.

Here's to a win streak.

Geez Gonzo if it is a breaking ball that starts on the outer third unless the guy has got a screw ball I think it is going outside...no Gonzo?????

There is a pitch you don't see anymore.

Please don't be hurt Pedroia.

Thats the way it will be all season for him. They never let him completely heal up. Its going to be a recurrent issue all year long. I still think it was a mistake not to DL him.

This could not contradict your stance on almost every other player on the DL any more.

Geez I hope they do win tonight for all the V questions there should be:

Did you bunt Pedey

Did you bunt Ross

Was taking Pedey out a precautionary measure

I think he certainly bunted Ross. I think Pedroia bunted on his own.

No two injuries are the same. It would have been six weeks then we get a healthy player back. He hasn't been effective anyway since he got hurt.

Wonder if Pedey dinged that thumb earlier in the game and then really dinged it during that swing.

So many ways to hurt that thing since it is wounded.

I think he had just started to come back around, getting his timing back. Who knows, maybe it was just a little stinger that made his thumb go numb, and he'll be back out there tomorrow.

Imagine what that thumb would feel like if he broke the bat like that on a cold night? Ouchhhhhhhhh!

He had 8 hits in the last 9 games (tonight included). I think he was starting to come around. Hopefully it is nothing serious.

Did anybody notice if Pedey was wearing the thumb donut tonight? I don't think I saw it but maybe wrong.

Kalish does a lot of talking after his catches.

I love to see the kid playing. Imagine Kalish, CC and Ells healthy and producing in the near future.....

Not including tonite (BR doesn't have tonite's stats yet) he has hit .205/.518 over the last nine games. He remains hurt IMO and hopefully didn't do serious damage there. Thats a possibility too: making it even worse, requiring surgery.

DL was the smart move.

Takes a while to get his legs underneath him. He's actually a fantastic outfielder defensively.

Remember this??

I remember that. Amazing catch. I am not saying he isn't good. He just looks uncoordinated, but like you said it probably appears that way because it does take a while for his legs to get underneath him. He has a good arm and good speed. He is solid out there, other than a couple mishaps tonight. I doubt those mishaps will be a regular thing for him.
