He's not even eligible to be called up yet. He was put on a rehab stint last Saturday, and has to have 10 days on the rehab stint before he's eligible to return, according to Cafardo.

From what I understand, yes. But he's been out for like a year. I think they'll give him more than 10 days to get his legs back underneath him.

NESN has been doing some things this year that are really irritating. That clubhouse thing is one of them. Always interviewing a guy from the winning team is really irritating. If the Sox win, interview one of the Sox. If the other team wins just don't.

Salty is now 4th in OPS (excluding Shoppach) among AL catchers.

I know I missed the beginning of the game but this does look like the kind of ump that eventually gives you your strike if you keep putting the ball in the same spot. dice cannot pitch without getting pitches in his locations and other than that stretch I saw where he started to get in the middle of the plate, he has been hitting his spots and getting called strikes.

By the way. Youk's now 3 for his last 33. I mean even the worst hitters in baseball history are better than that. He's gotta get a knock soon, doesn't he!?

He wasn't missing by too much earlier. The smaller strike zone didn't help. Typical nibble the outside BS.

Watch the first replay. It's foul by an inch or two. You can see the shadow foul before it hits. Even Remy called it "not close."
