Can't remember now if it was Carardo or Abraham but one of them wrote something a week or so ago that implied that AGons was balking at taking a day off and had even gone as far as asking V not to give him a day off. If so, I really wish he would be a bit less stubborn about this stuff. Maybe a day off won't do him a darned bit a good but playing every day does not seem to be getting anything positive done either.

I have no idea why the hell you keep the bunt on with DiceK after he has 2 strikes. That's so dumb.

There is a much better chance of him getting the bunt down, then him being productive swinging the bat. It's not that dumb.

I would have let dice take a cut also. He had already proven he was not going to get a bunt down....hell he might have put the ball in play and Mike was already at 2nd...so DP was off.

Not sure I would call it dumb but I probably would have let him take a cut.

Did you see his first two attempts?? And he also made 2 strike contact in his first AB.

Plus good contact to CF his first AB.

Plain and simple, this team cannot hit if the pitching is anywhere from slightly above average to elite.

to many mistakes on the base paths...to little situational hitting....Sox have never been good at this manufacturing runs or pushing runs across thing and seem worse lately.

I don't get to see many Wrigley games so maybe somebody else knows this but does it look like they put a stack of seats in both of those places out in the bleachers where fans used to watch from the rooftops across the streets? Maybe those seats have been there the last couple years and I have not had a chance to notice them.
