Really?? Really??

Ok. You keep thinking that line drives and ground balls have the same chance at being base hits. That's 100% ignorant.

Before you make comments about it being "silly" at least try to educate yourself. There are articles among articles explaining the difference in BABIP based on the type of hit (GB, FB, LD).

You can't look at the play Hardy made and call it luck. In the first place you have no f***ing idea if that is the only play he has ever made like that. Have you seen every ball ever hit to Hardy in his entire career?....I doubt it. He made a great play. It does not matter one iota how many times he has made that play before or how many times he has not. That time he made a great play.

Sure there are dribbler here and bouncers there but you seem to look at every play that does not go the Sox way and call it bad luck and then use the "logic" that the player has never made that play before to justify your position. In the first place you don't know if the player has never made a great play before and in the second place is just doesn't matter. He made one then and that is all there is.

Well, credit to V for trying something Tito wouldn't do and credit to Shoppach for laying down a nice bunt. Maybe this year's team has better luck in extras?

It's called hyperbole dude. Like when you say "That's the worst move ever" or "This is the best cake in the world".

Did you actually just try to call me out for a completely obvious sarcastic comment???

You're actually like Kip on Napoleon Dynamite right now.

That's you right there.

That may be true' date=' but a win is a win, ugly or pretty. Doesn't matter.[/quote']Whether they win or lose they will deserve the result.

I agree, but the opposition doesn't perform to perfection either, so that's where breaks come into play.

Not directed at you, but I'm tired of defending this. Let's just walk off and get the W and not let it hurt.

As you said, my comment was directed only for our team.

Anyway, let's get this Win!

Fair enough. If they win, they played well enough to overcome the breaks. If they lose, they didn't. But ignoring the breaks and acting like they have no impact on the game is silly.

If I was a member of an opposing team and there was a bench clearing brawl, I would steer clear of Aceves at all costs.

Aviles and Padilla both. Those guys carry knives to gun fights. And win.

I'd run full-bore at lackey......

Even if I was on our team I would do that. I would hit him in the chins with Dice-K's body.

Along the way, we luck will put some in the win column.

We need to put this game away with our big guns this inning.
