Bending over is athleticism?

Ah come on man. He was falling off to the left, and the ball was hit to his right. That was a good play.

You can't give this team any credit, huh? :harhar:

OK Sox...really should make it happen right here. Put then in hole going into their half of the 9th. I hate it when we end up leaving teams tied going into the top of the 9th. Get me somethin...one stinkin lousy run...somethin!

I root for this team every day of every year, but calling it athleticism when a fat guy bends over?

we can blame luck all we want, but in the end and in the overall this is what it is.

Anyone want to keep saying this team isn't just getting f***ed in every position??
We are in Fenway against the Orioles. We should be blowing their doors off. We're not. That's all there is to it.

Cody Ross could not have possibly hit that ball any harder. But it somehow turns into a DP. This has been a joke of a game. The Orioles are catching every single break.

That may be true, but a win is a win, ugly or pretty. Doesn't matter.

You are getting a little whiny. Yankee fans love to see us whine.

Oh for Christ sake it is just silly I am sorry. You don't win and lose games because the other guys have a better genie in their lamp.

So what...that was a great play by Albers bending down and s*** f***in luck by Hardy? A play is a play. All this bad luck horse s*** is just honestly silly. It is not like Hardy was just standing there and the ball found his glove.

At the rate you are going you are just going to convince yourself that the Sox got f***ed out of every game they lose this season. My favorite Bill Parcells line (different sport) is "you are what you are".

Ya' win what you win and you lose what you lose and that is all there is.

Really?? Really??

Ok. You keep thinking that line drives and ground balls have the same chance at being base hits. That's 100% ignorant.

Before you make comments about it being "silly" at least try to educate yourself. There are articles among articles explaining the difference in BABIP based on the type of hit (GB, FB, LD).

for every lucky situation you call I could find tons of underperformance situations in our part. It's good to be optimistic and everything but as I said, in the end this is what it is and lucky has nothing to do when you put the big picture of the game or the season thus far.

I agree, but the opposition doesn't perform to perfection either, so that's where breaks come into play.

Not directed at you, but I'm tired of defending this. Let's just walk off and get the W and not let it hurt.
