Get him outta here V. Please don't wait till we are three runs down with three innings to play.

Now that is what I mean by bad baseball. Agons had no business throwing that ball to third...luck had nothing to do with that.
That's how bad teams play.

It's just tough to watch this team. They are a mediocre team playing bad baseball.

Thats a very good assessment. And its going to be that way all year long. We will have spurts where we win 5 or 6 in a row. Then we will have losing streaks of equal length. Mediocrity. No playoffs. Not that we deserve to make the playoffs. Not this team.

We keep hearing Padilla has nagging injuries and he keeps throwing like s***. Tonight he had no idea where the ball was going. I just think they may have to bite the bullet and shut him down for a bit. I think it is Padilla that does not want to do it cause he is rightfully afraid he will not make it back out there to the mound again. But he is not helping anything right now.

Disagree.

Was this a mediocre team last year? Again, this is a complete reaction to stats being manipulated by a small sample size. Our SP aren't going to have a 5.50 ERA all season. We're going to have more starters with ERA's in the 3's than in the 5's.

The numbers look bad, and the team isn't performing right now. But this SP rotation is a hell of a lot better right now than it was last year with Lackey/Miller/Wakefield in the back end, and nobody would have said that was a bad team.

Sure, the bullpen was significantly better last season than this year, but give DiceK a chance to come back, stick Bard back in the bullpen, Bailey will be back, and then the bullpen becomes a lot better than it is now.

f***, that would be gone in summer.

Well actually if he had gotten the meat of the bat onto that I would agree with you. But from the looks of it I think he just got under it a bit and just did not get good wood on it. You are right though. If he had good wood on that and the breeze was not a factor, hit up in the air like that it would likely have carried out in the summer.

That at least catches some green in the summer. That ball absolutely died.
