He is a #4 SP. Generally they aren't very good. If he can pitch 6 innings and give up just 3 runs I will take it every night.

It's the L column that you look at, because that's the only one you can't control. You can control the W column. But it's 2 back in the L column right now, and if the Sox hold on, it'll be an even 2 (not 3 back in W, 2 back in L, 2.5 overall).

Nothing to get confused about, if it was September then You should be confused. I was just pointing out that the yankoffs didn't start all that great either.
