This string of 22 games coming up is exactly what this team needs while they get healthy. If they can go on a tear here, they'll build some confidence and come back with guys like Crawford and Rich Hill back with the Sox when the tough games start back up.

Oh, I'm definitely not judging him based on that 1 AB. I think he'll give us a lot more than Repko or DMac, so he's an upgrade in my mind.

 

Once Crawford comes back, it's going to be interesting if they keep Byrd in CF if Sweeney and Ross keep hitting pretty well.

I actually have high hopes for him.

 

He's a better player than Cody Ross, and everyone busted their nuts all over the place when they acquired him. Byrd was a starting MLB CF just last year.
