Right before the season started, our pen was something like this

 

Bailey

Melancon

Ace

Morales

Padilla

Albers

 

Bailey got hurt by a freak injury

No one could've predicted that Melancon would be this awful

Ace has showed up

Padilla too

Morales just s*** the bed but was good before

We'll see what Albers does right here

 

The pen looked pretty decent heading into the year, no one could predict s*** going this south this fast. Thank God the team isn't run by these message board GM's, we'd be neck deep in reactionary free agent signings every time the team faced some f***ing adversity. It's April, the f***ing Orioles are contenders right now. Wait 'til f***ing May at least to go off.

Sending down Melancon was a start. The Rangers are using Uehara in garbage time. He has a live arm and pitched in the ALE. The Rangers have actively shopped him. I'd sign Mike Gonzalez to get a second lefty in the pen.

Putting a good bullpen together is impossible on the black market. Best bullpen are developed by the team within. We had two incredible relievers.
