From the Globe...

Jason Repko and Nate Spears were added to the roster from Triple-A Pawtucket today. Repko is starting in center field.

Che-Hsuan Lin was optioned to Pawtucket and RHP Michael Bowden and catcher Luis Exposito were designated for assignment to open space on the 40-man roster.

Repko, 31, has six years of major league experience with the Dodgers and Twins. He is a career .226/.297/.350 righthanded hitter. Repko hit .226/.270/.286 in 67 games for the Twins last season.

He was hitting 7 for 13 in four games with Pawtucket. Repko is a former supplemental first-round pick (1999) of the Dodgers.

Over/under on the amount of time Bowden and/or Exposito are available through waivers before the Boy Blunder in Chicago makes a claim?

So what was the point of bringing Lin up in the first place?

To give Dojji blue-balls? Idk. Weird to bring him up just to send him down.

Bowden will catch on with another team. Expo will likely be stuck in the sox minors

Bowden sucks....hopefully somebody does claim him.

Bowden is still young. I don't like his mechanics. But I have seen far worse in the bigs.

Someone will grab him and I hope that he does well.

Exposito's problem is he is "blocked" by Lavanway. Sorry dude.

The guys at orioles hangout were saying theyd like to have him.

How many message boards do you read?

I barely have enough time for this one haha.

They didn't know if Repko was going to be okay because of some injury. But, after seeing him go 2-3 in Pawtucket, they decided he would be fine, and brought him up, sent Lin packing with a nice tour of the park and a complementary chocolate.

I lounge around at the ones for division teams. Orioles fans are funny, they actually act like real people, it's quite funny.

Bowden doesn't have any real pitch to get hitters out in key situations. His stuff is 91-92 fastball that has no movement. At times I seen him ideal it to 94-95 but it still get bang around. The only lost here was they held onto him while his value peak in 2009.

I hope he gets a chance with a NL club like San Diego, where he could just let their OF have adventures catching flyballs.

Yup. Throwing strikes can get you pretty good numbers in AAA without being dominant. Throwing strikes at the MLB level with little to no stuff gets you knocked around like John Wasdin.

He could probably get away with it in the NL or in a weak division or in a smaller market. Brad Radke did.

Can you suggest an O's board for me to look at?

Orioles hangout. It's the one I browse at. It's especially entertaining when they're playing us.

Do you guys remember when Dipre and I got banned at Redbirds? Lol! What a bunch of major douches.

Ill take a look.

NYYfans is great. The only people worse than Sox fans in terms of reactionary....are the Yankees and Jets fans.

Take a look at http://www.theganggreen.com

Jets fans are the worst in the world.

The PawSox received a call saying Lin to Boston. Then they received another call that said

they wanted Repko, not Lin.

No word on whether the calls came from the same source.;)

I hate Jets fans. They must be mad because they are the second team in New Jersey, I mean New York City.

The problem with the Jets and Yankees fans is they know their teams are the "media" teams. And they show it.

Funny, the Giants fans aren't like that. Too classy an organization, I guess.

NYY Fans is not an accurate representation of us. I'm banned over there

Then it is an accurate representation......since your original username was banned here as well jacko, or should I say "The Rivernator"!!

Not only that, but isn't NYYF the biggest fan forum on the interwebs for Yankee fans? If it's the most popular it stands to reason it is representative, like it or not.

I hope Bowden and Expo have good careers and wouldn't mind if both ended up back with Boston. They were released because the Sox needed 40 man space, not necessairly because they suck.
