Ortiz hit through the shift 3 times in Detroit and now hit around it in Toronto. I really don't believe in shifting defenders completely out of position.

Yep, needs to be more aggressive throwing more strikes, BUT keeping them in the lower half of the zone.

 

He has threw some high-90 MPH pitches in the upper strike zone that the Jays WILL jack him for sooner than later if he doesn't fix that issue quick.

Ross is a good platoon player. He puts up very good numbers against LHP, but he is very streaky as a full time player. Don't expect an .800+ OPS from him on a full time basis, cause it ain't going to happen.

Streaky for sure.

 

Can't wait for those hot streaks from him - because they will be mostly moon launch home runs/doubles/tripples/RBIs

Agreed but none the less the defense and pitching is doing their part so far

Keeping it a 0 0 game. The offense needs to step up now.
