It's okay, because the Tigers have the top spot in the Wild Card. It's the Angels, A's, and O's to be concerned about. How about the A's and O's this year?

What I hate about Girardi is that he gives up on games far before he needs to. He planned on taking out Hughes, so why did he let him go one more batter and face Miguel f***ing Cabrera of all batters. He leaves in our ROOGY to face 2 lefties in the following inning, and lo and behold, a run comes in. I am not saying that putting someone else in for the Cabrera at bat would have stopped all the bleeding, but walking Cabrera and going after Fielder, or putting in the ROOGY for Cabrera might have held the scoring to 1 run. And all of this earlier in the game, when eventually it was decided by 1 run. And who the f*** thought it was a good idea to have Granderson leading off? That guy is a corpse up there leading off. He strikes out far too much to be a leadoff guy and he isnt dependable in the clutch. Keep Jeter at 1, keep Grandy at the 2, put Cano 3, Tex 4, Swish 5, Ibanez 6....et al until Aroid comes back. And in the offseason, GET ANOTHER f***ING BAT! I have been saying it for 2 years now. Our offense is a pile on offense, we are doing well this yr due to pitching. We need another fearsome hitter in this lineup

Hmmm, you're description of Girahdi(Boston version), sounds a lot like a guy by the name of Bobby. Bobby Valentine. If you ask me, I think the Yankees are on the verge of collapsing.

The Yankees are not collapsing. We do this every yr. We go out to a big lead then get complacent, let some of it slip, then extend it again before clinching. It is just a little annoying that it is happening in this fashion

We are certainly making this a race with our stagnant play. The subtraction of Nova and addition of CC might be of benefit since Nova's been awful for a month now. We have a ton of games vs the O's and Rays still, and the sox have a chance to play spoiler. We need to get healthy and quick.

Down to 2 games. God this team sucks right now. Arod is back on Monday, Tex should be back at the end of next week. But this offense sucks cock right now, and at the absolute worst time

Dan Duquette has built himself a nice team in Baltimore. With Duke and Showalter the O's are a resurgent franchise. Our owners cast Duke aside like an old shoe, but he could take our current GM and his predecessor to school.
