Hello everyone, I am new to this forum. As you probably know, I am curious as to when the rest of the 2012 tickets go on sale? I know a few select home game tickets have been released but they are mostly divisional and/or for the beginning and end of the season. Does anyone know when the remainder of the season, interleague and summer home game tickets will be released. Is there a mailing list that will let me know. I just want to get some face value tickets before the scalpers buy and resell them for ridiculous amounts. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I bought tickets for a game in August. The physical ones don't come in until the spring. But you can already purchase them. Either that or stub hub owes me $250 lol

Did anyone get tickets this morning? I'm wicked thrilled about this new will-call only with-credit-card service that they're doing at Fenway Park for the cheap seats. I just bought four pairs of tickets for $139. With fees, that's $17 a piece. Last year they were a complete pain to find the cheap ones, but it seemed like they were available for every game this year.

What is that telling us about fan support for this team?

Stop trolling please. The reason why the cheapseats are available is because of a new initiative they've made to make sure that they end up in the hands of fans, and not scalpers.

Scalpers are better fans than me. They show up for every home game.

And they also make upwards of 100K a year off the backs of fans.

If the fans are willing to pay, it's their problem. I've bought tickets on a whim but haven't paid more than face value.

That's an unfair crack! It was a sincere question. Is the new initiative because the secondary market is drying up as has been reported repeatedly or is the new initiative a serious attempt to win back fans alienated by the team's performance.

Holy s***, that's cheap. How far are the seats though? My parents agreed about letting me go to Boston but they tought I was insane to pay 1,200 for the 3 game series vs the Yankees(hotel, jersey, tour, player t shirt, autograph signing etc.). That's without airfare too. I'm thinkin of just buying the tickets straight up and go with a whole bunch of talksox members who are interested. I might have somewhere to stay while I'm there too. It's my first time and I really really want to go to the Yankees, but all 3 games. Does anyone plan on getting tickets to the July 7-9 series? Making 400 dollars a month isn't enough to pay for all the s*** I have to do. My parents already paid nearly 3 grand for Europe, I have to save up for a car, senior activities, etc. I'mgoing to see if I can convince them to do the Red Sox destinations. I'll just pick up more hours and pay for at least half of it.

This morning I got tickets for the Saturday and Sunday games in Augaust against the Royals. There wasn't a whole lot of good seats available for other weekend games.

I have a bunch tickets left over from the Sox Pax that I will not be using. They are all infield grandstand tickets --$55 face. PM me if you are interested. I'll send you dates and ticket locations. I'm just looking for the face amount and the $2.50 handling fee that the Sox charged me.

I realize the Red Sox Destinations is a bit pricey for a young fella, but they do a really good job of it. The Copely Marriott is a 4 star hotel. I am having a really a hard time finding an affordable hotel in Back Bay that weekend. If you try to book that trip on your own, it will might cost you more than you would pay Red Sox Destinations. If you want to defray some expenses you could sell tickets to one of the games. The biggest plus for you in booking with destinations is that it will remove all the stress of the trip. You will know exactly where you have to be and when without worrying about quality etc. They take care of everything, plus it sounds like they are throwing in some nice perks. For a first-time traveler to Boston not having the stress of the unknown will be very helpful.

I'm going to the Yankee series in September .

Hope to hell I can win the draw for them , otherwise I'll have to pay out of my ass for tickets.

I'm trying to score tickets to the July series. I was told it's a raffle and winners will be released on February on like a Wednesday or something like that. Where do I go to participate?

I was completely sold on red sox destinations. From my point of view I'm just like why not ask for a few more hours at work and save up more money. My parents see it as you're crazy. You still have to worry about college, car, etc. I'm playing the lottery on my birthday, f*** this.

Also , as for the red sox destination, you can always get the package with no hotel for 675 and get a cheap hotel seperately rather than getting the 4 star hotel .

Upper bleachers are usually underneath the big image screen--- Wayyy up there, but atleast you can see the game. I think they're much better than the right field grandstand seats because you get a centered view of the game, instead of an awkward twisted angle. Plus, there really aren't "seat-police" like some places, so you can move around if you want.

I'm going to be sitting in RF box 8(pink area on the seating chart) row J. Anyone ever sit in that area? Will they be good seats?

I don't think so. As I was filling out the information it only gives you the option to pick how many people will be in the hotel room.

I like them, because you are very close to the action. You can get some vicious line fouls in those seat. Believe it or not, but row J could be the fist or second row in that corner. Fenway is screwy ike that. There will probably not be rows A to I in front of you. Use this site. It'll will show you the view from those seats etc.

I just looked it up. There is no row I, but there is row A to H. Go figure.
