You cant assume throwing out base stealers. the inning was on beckett and he f***ed up

You should be able to when it's Vlad Guerrero, dude. That's like saying you can't assume throwing David Ortiz or Matt LeCroy out or something. That's a basic throwout for the average catcher, Salty stinks behind the dish. I don't give two shits whether or not he's a plus offensive catcher, he could have put the inning to a stop.

Frankly Salty has been the worst defensive catcher in baseball since....well....the beginning of the season. and they still found ways to win. Problem is that they all for the most part play like stiffs now except for Pedey and Ells. Sure he should have thrown Vlad out but how different is Salty's play tonight than it is every night.

Difference.....not even Beckett as this is the way he has pitched now for awhile. Ya' have to manage for today Tito not tomorrow. Beckett has shown us time and again this season that he is not capable of pitching out of innings when he gets in trouble. That has been the case even when the pitch count is not up there.

Injuries to starting pitching started the ball rolling downhill but that is all it did, start the ball rolling. Biggest difference in this team is that it has checked out mentally. Most impact from having checked out mentally has been at the plate followed by defense, followed by base running. At the plate, they bat thoughtlessly and can't get back to the dugout fast enough. In the field, most of them are no longer even in the right position to make a play.....on the bases Tito is over-managing them.

Best thing that could happen for them is a complete collapse into the oblivion of the off season and a very serious evaluation of where they are. Heck it may be the best thing for us for that matter. They ar playing double AA baseball at best and that is getting hard to watch.

He was hit by a pitch last night and came out of the game early. He was hit in the thigh.

if tek was hurt, they should have started lavarnway....at least everyone isn't positive they can steal every time against him yet! seriously would rather have a rookie with potential playing than salty, because he just plain sucks.

No one's giving him the pass' date=' but Salty could have and should have quite easily stopped it.[/quote']

I'm giving Beckett a pass.

If you're gonna blame someone blame 1, Salty, 2 Francona.

We all clearly saw Beckett crowled out of that previous inning. Francona saw this and still let him go back out? Bad managing.

Beckett tires by the 5th inning. It was so clear.

Francona should be replace as manager. Times up.

the difference between us and the rays, they're mid money pitchers pitch big, our big money pitchers pitch like s***** little money pitchers, pure and simple.

He doesnt want to hear that. Instead he insults myself and tells me that people do not post in an internet forum because of the way I think. I am not allowed to have an opinion. If I were you, I wouldnt either....you dont want to be labeled as the reason why people dont post at talksox anymore.

Man you motherf***ing **** yankees fans don't get it do you? You constantly do this s***. It's about time mods give you dumbasses temp bans so you can get it through your thick f***ing head. Go eat a dick.

Why would I eat a donut?

You're an ass. Tony Soprano got whacked in the series finale? STFU idiot.

I think Meh needs to go make sure he's got enough followers on Twitter.

So you guys would rather have them waive the white flag for tonight instead of using Aceves?

No, what we would have rather of been done is put him in before this game got out of control. Using him after s*** hit the fan is a waste of his talent. Again, manager needs to learn how to do his f***ing job. He is so stupid. I'm starting to think he got dropped on his head.

It was sarcastic....

The director dropped hints at it, but I guess you were too simple-minded to pick it up, but meh I don't care and neither should you... it's just a TV show at the end of the day.

Yeah he should've been put in earlier, but at least this attemps to keep it at a four run game, which isn't out of reach.

The Yankees are effectively throwing all 3 against the Rays. The best you can hope for is you win the next 2 and get to take your chances with a 1 gamer vs the Rays on Thursday

Oh OK Girardi, thank you.

Obviously we dont want them to give up. I just want the best possible chances for success in the final 2 games assuming we will be tied at the end of this one when you weigh percentages and chances of winning.

with this lineup, 4 runs is an eternity of at bats for us. crawford sucks, salty sucks, and ortiz suddenly can't any lefty anymore....and none of our guys can hit their closer!!!!!!!!!!!

So we can scratch Aceves off 2morrow nights game availability. Nice bullpen management.

Tito being Tito ...

Those games which are winnable, he applies the 7 Rs rule, and those which are already lost, sends his best arm. Unbelievable.

All season loooong.

This team has serious management, coaching and fundamentals issues, serious!

You should just stop. You were wrong, admit it. I am not simple minded. You are simple minded not to realize the difference between what the directors/creators "hinted at" and how the series actually ended.

STFU Yankee fan. Go somewhere and f*** with fat people. *******.
