I'm going to regret staying up for this one. School starts to damn early. Waking up at 5:30 am and starting school at 7:20 should be illegal. I can't wait for college.

Why do you have to get up so early?

In all honesty' date=' I've stopped being nervous about this one. Obviously a win would be best, but the Sox have shown some life and I'm hopeful that they can go kick the s*** out of the Orioles tomorrow and the next day and the next. No assurance, obviously, but I feel better than I did before the start of this one.[/quote']

With this game going so late, there is a very good chance the Yankees dont use their starters for at least tomorrows game and possibly the next. You might be faced with having to sweep the O's to get in the postseason, which I am not sure you can do.

Can't be nearly as bad as me probably getting only a few hours of sleep due to neglecting to do homework

Sox games are more important than everything though.

Stranger things have happened my friend.

I'm hopeful that the Rays will lose one to the Yankees. Maybe not.

I just don't think it bodes well for the Yankees to lose 3 games going into the playoffs to a potential playoff foe.

There's resting your players and then there's f***ing up. I'm hopeful that they will have some pride and not just blow it and give the Rays 3 easier games than they deserve.

I started at 7:20 in High School and used to get up at 6:30, you live far from your school or something?

They took 3 of 4 from the Rays when there was something to play for. We arent throwing CC, and Nova will be done as well. Hughes might not be back to start and we probably wont throw Garcia since he might be the #2 or #3 starter depending on matchups. We'll have Colon, then two shitbums

I have to be up at 8, but I also an assload of work left to do tonight.

West coast rocks. 8:05 pm right now.

But games start at 4 when you're still at work.

I'm glad to be back on the East Coast.

Bus leaves really early. I need to get a car so I can wake up later.

I bet. Living large as a doctor now.

Not really. My bus picks me up at 6:25. I used to wake up at like 6 but I've missed the bus so many times due to moving slow as hell and oversleeping that my mom makes me wake up at 5:30.

How are the 9am college football games' date=' though[/quote']

What do you mean? I'm usually up by 9am.

I've lived out here for 10 years. I'm convinced its the best timezone for sports watching. I wake up and there's football on, SNF and MNF come on at a very reasonable 5:30 or 6:00 so I never have to stay up until 1am to watch a game.. except the very rare 7pm west-coast game.

Did something happen to this team? Did someone hold the entire team up at gun-point? Did their 30 Red Sox puppies all die in a horrible fire? Did their families collectively suffer some tragedy that none of us are aware of? They look shellshocked.
This is what a team choke looks like. They are very rare, but i watched the Mets do it in 2007 and 2008. This is what it looks like. Lots of s***** players are on the field who are completely futile, the reliable stars try doing do much to get the team to win and before you know it, they can't do anything right. Then the manager tries hunches that don't work and the whole thing snowballs. When a team starts spiraling like this, they need a top stud that can hurl a complete game shutout (like a Sandy Koufax), but they don't make those guys anymore.

I went out and watched football all day... no baseball. I knew this was going to happen. I could see this unfolding 3 weeks ago and everyone said I was nuts. As recent as yesterday my son disagreed with me. I would not be surprised if we don't win another game this season if we lose tonight. Oh, well anything can happen I guess. Nah not really, not when you are forced to wheel out Wakefield in a must win game. This is the best game the Sox have played in 2 weeks and it will probably be a devastating loss. Sad. Very sad.

The good thing about college is you basically make your schedule. I bet you go like 2 or 3 times during the weekday for a couple hours. I got the whole week. Not sure if you have a dorm but I need to get one because it'll benefit me in soooo many ways. I'm so excited for college I want senior year to die already.

when I was in Hawaii, we watched some Yankee games in a local Red Sox bar. Yes, there is a Red Sox bar on Oahu in Aiea. 5 or 6 hour difference depending on daylight savings. Hawaii saves no daylight. 1pm games were on at 7am.

Stop stressing. This is inevitable. It doesn't matter what Tito does at this point.
