Salty completely overmatched there. If MR is keeping the ball down like that there are not many guys at about Salty's ability that have much of a shot.

Remember when it wasn't cool to be a Sox fan, when bandwagon fans all around the country would stay away from us? I think we may be heading that way again. Like rats, certain "fans" will leave this team and will disappear.

I wouldn't mind so much if there weren't so many people on the team I can't stand. It's one thing to keep rooting for a losing team that simply doesn't have the funds to compete with the yankees, etc. The fact is that we spend a ridiculous amount of money now and we are trotting garbage out there night after night. We have guys like Lackey who are absolutely terrible, yet still run their mouth and show up their team mates. I'm sick of it. Baseball needs a f***ing salary cap and I don't even care if that means no more Redsox/Yankee domination of the league. It's a f***ing joke.

It's ok to be a fan of the team and not like a few players. I won't hold that against anyone.

 

Also, it's not the money that's the problem with this team. It's the players. Don't care about the paychecks. It's a sunk cost at this point.

There are plenty of Yankees I dont like. That's the way it is. Just cause AJ Burnett and Ramiro Pena are on the team right now doesnt mean I should hate the team
