While I'm equally pained by the choking, does any Yankee fan really have a place to stand after losing a 3-0 lead to the 2004 Sox? I mean, to me it seems that NEITHER insult is really worth tossing, but I would expect a Yankee fan to use a word other than "choke".

 

BTW, the Red Sox suck right now. The last time I remember them looking this deflated was the end of game 3 in 2004's ALCS. I don't think they have the arms or bats to lift themselves out of it though.

In reality, Yankees fans will have a place to insult you but it won't be a decades long insult-fest. The end of this season will disappear as soon as next year starts, IMO.

This appears to be the confluence of the very worst factors all at the same time. I'm not sure what this team is missing, but everyone on the team seems defeated, tired, etc., and there isn't a single player on the team who can actually light a fire under their asses. That's a really, really big problem.
