So I reading yesterday that if Beckett were to pitch in the Baltimore series that he would'nt be eligible to pitch in Game 1 (if there is one) of the ALDS next week even if it is normal rest. Are you guys aware of this?

 

Lester is better off getting game 1 anyway. The game 1 starter is more likely to be used to pitch on short rest than the game 2 starter, so I'd prefer the healthy ace, Lester, to be that guy.
