He's completely dicked us this game. Unacceptable and inexcusable.

Could not agree more....Bard SUCKS at this point...they need to demote his ass for awhile so he can get his stuff together. Everytime this guy comes in the game I am thinking...ok...game over. Guy has no confidence and is killing the sox......send him down Tito!!!!

OK....well maybe that is it. But if so, they need to find some other option and let the guy "rest" if that is the case.....don't keep sending him out there to get shell shocked like Private Ryan....can't be good long term for the kids psyche!!!!

The fallacy of replacing a reliever every inning is evident in this game. You keep changing relievers until you find somebody the other team can hit. That's what it often amounts to. Never used to be that way.

I don't think that would have gone out. Probably would have hit the fence. It's weird, he has great games where it kooks like things will turn around, but it never quite gets there. I'd feel much more comfortable if he went on a hot streak. His production dramatically alters this lineup.

just don't know why it's ok to "overpitch" bard again and again and again, but seemingly a felony to let pap's get 4 or even 5 outs. if he comes in after the bunt, i'm convinced he gives up a run or less. and is pitching in the 9th to nail it down.

Great Points.......don't get this one either. This was an important game today.....I think Pap would have shut the door on this one. Bard is obviously "overtired" as one poster stated....so why keep sending him out there when you have a pretty good idea what the outcome is going to be if he is that worn out.....more batting practice. I don't get Tito's strategy on this one.
