Four things:

 

1. I'd like to punch Cervelli in his annoying face.

2. The Sox have left too many runners stranded

3. Crawford doesn't look like he has platoon issues

4. Salty looks like he has platoon issues-- not adequate at all.

The next two are ours, no way we lose to those two scrubs. Beckett's money against NYY this year and I'm sure Jon wants to improve on that 5 ERA in 3 starts against them.

Just got in, watched most of the game at a bar with some friends from work. I think the club needs to be renamed. I suggest....

 

John Lackey Pitches Like a #4 Starter, A Guy You Hope Doesn't Get Pounded, But Eventually When He Does You Aren't Surprised, Even Though He Gets Paid To Be A Lot Better, Unfortunately Robbing Your Team Of Valuable Resources To Get A Player That Your Minor League System Could Not Replace, Which It Probably Could Do With Lackey

All of the Yankees pitchers looked bad tonight. The Sox offense just looked worse. Beating ourselves tonight. Horrible.

 

I really don't think CC looked all that bad. The Sox hit some balls hard, but literally everything they hit found space. And when you strike out ten guys in six innings (and Peddy twice) you're doing something right.
