Just as A700 said, Lester shall shut the gates down and perform like an ace, since Youk, Papi and Ells still out, and McD will hit 2nd?, wow...

I just died laughing after seeing this lineup. People need to get healthy quick.

My back is so f***ing sore now. I hate pain!!! And percocets make me dizzy. f***!!!

Age is starting to catch up on you old guy. Not really sure what to do in this situatiom so I can't help you out' date=' sorry. Feel better bud.[/quote']

It's not age. I was in an accident June 28 and really f***ed up my back

I have a slam dunk law suit but I don't care. I want the pain gone!!!

The accident was a result of Spud being Spud. I was holding a door open for a woman when the hydraulic damper fell off the door frame knocking me unconscious. I fell back, slammed my head against the wall and fell straight down on the tip of my spine. This happened in my apartment building. And the woman (a UPS driver) witnessed it all.

Has Crawford always done that little stutter step with his front foot? Looks like he is squaring up his body right before the pitch, and then striding again. Anyone else notice that?

He has always done that.

He has always done that.

I just looked up older AB's. He never set his foot down. He would hitch his leg back, and then stride. Now he's setting his foot down instead of hitching it back. I think it's an attempt to get him going quicker.

See what I'm talking about?

ugly. Why is CC always behind 0-2? And he can't get himself out of the hole.

I've been saying this all year. Nobody gets in more 0-2 counts in baseball than CC.

Lester needs to find a way to get his pitch counts under control. It's part of taking that next step in becoming a dominant pitcher.

11 extra pitches because Lowrie doesn't know how to play an inbetween hop makes it tough to control your pitch count. That's an extra inning.

But it shouldn't have taken 11 more pitches for one out. If the ump has a small strike zone, stop trying to nip the corners. If the ump calls something lower in the strike zone a ball. Don't be surprised when the next pitch in the same place is a ball too.

With that cutter, he should pitch to contact more than he is.
